It's impossible to maintain a state of happiness, because it's a fleeting emotion. One is happy at times but this idea of "to attain happiness" is pure delusion and makes no sense. The goal is to be a free man/woman by having a true understanding of who we are, where we come from, and where we are going... this involves acknowledging and seeking the guidance, mercy and inspiration of the One and Absolute Creator. I've come to the realization that our true aim is to finish this period we call "life" without falling pray to idol worship where it be from family, society, technique etc...
#2 - Man is naturally Good
This is absolute false, as anyone who has ever read scripture or is aware of what happens in society will understand that an evil force exists and there are people who are attracted to this force for whatever reasons. Man can be good if the Creator so chooses it to be so. The Quran states in several verses and I will paraphrase that the believer and non believer are not the same and the later is not good. Quran also clearly describes the three types of people... The believer, the non-believer and the hypocrite.
#3 - Everything is Matter
Another false assumption that has been put in place to separate Man with the spiritual side. What is interesting is that the ruling class very much do not believe this, they are very spiritual but not in the good sense, they have chosen the dark side but they absolutely do not believe that "everything is matter" but push this propaganda to separate Man from the Creator and from his true essence and its an effective method.
