Dear Sam, I don't believe you need to validate yourself. Your eight years of sharing your findings with the world has stood the test of time and is having a profoundly inspiring effect on the few who embrace the same.
From my perspective, you could either turn off the comments (as you had previously), to preserve your energy, or... simply ignore the nonsense.
There is a growing minority who watch your videos, read the adverse comments ( I would argue this may even be a benefit) and then take it upon themselves to dig deeper for answers.
Every negative comment offers an opportunity (for further analysis) for the few curious minds who come across your work and indeed the explicit haters themselves.
